Over 15 years ago, in the search for better media, we found that the chemical triacontanol works in-vitro to boost plant growth for the cloning of plants in our plant tissue culture work. This is the main reason why we have spent many years developing a combination fertilizer for use both indoors and outdoors on a range of plants.


Triplantanol contains a wide range of chemical additives. Its main ingredient is made from alfalfa but it is much more than that. It is combination of a larger range of other products such as fertilisers, vitamins, amino acids, sugars, plant growth regulators and stimulants. The complete list of ingredients is a commercial secret. Please do not ask us what it is!

This complex mixture is key to why Triplantanol boosts the growth of plants so well. Many years of trials have come up with the best combination for growth. SHS Acta Horticulturae 379: International Symposium on Quality of Fruit and Vegetables: Influence of Pre- and Post- Harvest Factors and Technology EFFECT OF A LONG CHAIN ALIPHATIC ALCOHOL (TRIACONTANOL) ON GROWTH AND YIELD OF DIFFERENT HORTICULTURAL CROPS Authors: C. Kapitsimadi, S.A. Vioryl Abstract: The influence of triacontanol on growth and yield was studied in tomato, sweet pepper, sugar beet, cotton, tobacco and potato plants. Three foliar sprays of triacontanol were applied to all the crops, starting at the early stages of plant growth. In tomato and sweet pepper, plant height and leaf number were higher in the treated plants than the control ones. The mean cumulative yield per treated plant was significantly higher than the control ones. In sugar beet plants treated with triacontanol, the leaf number and the mean root weight were significantly bigger than the control ones. In tobacco plants the mean leaf number per plant was 11% bigger for treated plants than the control ones, whereas the mean leaf dry weight was 24% more than the control plants. In potato and cotton plants the yield per plant was significantly higher for the treated plants.
